Wheel-Throwing Mugs - Two Day Class

Join me for a one-to-one class for beginners where I take you through the basics of making a mug on the wheel. Perfect if you want to try something new! Why not bring a friend for a fun day out?

This two-day class takes place over consecutive Sundays - on the first Sunday I’ll show you how to centre clay on the wheel, pull up the walls into a cylinder, and pull handles. Your piece will be left to dry until the following Sunday when it will be ready to trim and attach the handle to finish making your mug! Please see images for examples of what you can make.

The price of the class includes glazing and firing for two pieces, so you can come back to pick them up once they are out of the kiln. I have a selection of glaze colours for you to pick from for your finished pottery.

Classes take place between 10:00 and 12:00 on Sundays. Just select your preferred date from the dropdown menu when adding to basket.

You can bring a friend at no extra cost, but please bear in mind that I have one wheel, so during the class you can take it in turns to practice throwing and bring one piece of pottery home each.
