Wheel-Throwing - Single Class
Join me for a one-to-one class for beginners where I take you through the basics of wheel-throwing your own pottery. Perfect if you want to try something new! Why not bring a friend for a fun day out?
I’ll show you how to centre clay on the wheel, pull up the walls into a cylinder and finally shape it into a cup - see images for examples of what you can make.
The price of the class includes glazing and firing for two pieces, so you can come back to pick them up once they are out of the kiln. I have a selection of glaze colours for you to pick from for your finished pottery.
Classes take place at 10am on Saturdays for a duration of 1.5 hours. Just select your preferred date from the dropdown menu when adding to basket.
You can bring a friend at no extra cost, but please bear in mind that I have one wheel, so during the class you can take it in turns to practice throwing and bring one piece of pottery home each.
Lessons are for adults only.
